Finchale Abbey Touring Caravan Park is situated in the heart of the County Durham countryside and is on the banks of the River Wear. This touring park is a family run business that has been in the hands of the current owners for around 60 years. This is not a caravan park for the family if you have children as this touring park is for adults only. This park is very popular in the North-West and touring come from miles around just to enjoy the pease of quiet of this beautiful caravan park.
Finchale Abbey have 40 pitches available for touring caravans and all have electricity hook-up points. There is a map on Finchale Abbery website of all the pitches available. With this park on the banks of the River Wear, this is a very popular destination for people who love fishing. You can buy daily passes for the river for about £7 a day or if you are going to keep coming to this park throughout the season a season ticket is around £35 (Prices subject to change).

How to get to Finchale Abbey Caravan Park
From the North/South via the A1(M)
Off the A1(M) North of Durham City, Junction 63, head south onto the A167 for four miles turn left at the roundabout which directs to the Arnison Center. Follow signs for Finchale Priory.
From Durham City.
Head north away from Durham City following signs for Framwellgate Moor/ Arnison Center.
