Waterfoot Caravan Park in situated in the Cumbria countryside in a beautiful location with the Lake District National Park. This caravan park is ideal for a family holiday to the Lake District and the park allows you to bring your touring vans and motorhomes. There are a number of privately owned holiday home onsite, but these are not for rent and you must own them to stay in them. There is also no camping facilities on this site so know tents are allowed.
Waterfoot Caravan park in for the whole family to enjoy and with the surrounding woodland and wildlife on offer you are in for a treat is peace and quiet is your cup of tea, This park has been awarded a number awards and has a gold status under the David Bellamy Award scheme and has been present in this scheme since 2000. This site has also been award 5 stars by the English Tourist Council and it is an excellent location to take your touring caravan.
There is a mix of hard-standing and lawn pitches that you can choose from and the owners of the park just want you to have the best family caravan holiday in the hope that you return year of year as so many past visitors do.
The touring area for this caravan park at Waterfoot is level and has 30 standing pitches. All pitches have electric hook-up points. There is a toilet block where drinking water can be found and the further away pitch for this facility is 120 metres. Within this area there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and spin dryer and these are all coin operated. There are showers in the main toilet blocks which have three shower cubicles each. Hairdryers are also available in both the ladies and gents areas.
Within the park there is also an area where you can buy your everyday items and also a bar where you can relax and enjoy your surrounds.
Dogs are allows within the park, but must be keep on leads at all times.

By Car
Waterfoot Park is easily accessed from the M6. Leave the M6 at Junction 40 and head west along the A66 (signposted to Rheged and Ullswater 'Steamers'), then turn left on the A592. Follow the road for about three miles. If you happen to past a lake please turn around as you have travelled to far down this road.
Open from 1st March to 14th November, 2010. This date will be roughly the same for 2011 season.
