Lickpenny Touring Park is a Caravan Park located in the heart of the Derbyshire dales and is situated within 16 acres of countryside. This park is set above the lovely village of Tansley and is also near to the towns of Matlock and Bakewell.
The park has a 4 star rating with “Visit Britain” and is a member of the BHHPA. They also have other awards for example the Silver award from the David Bellamy conservation and a 4 star AA rating. Several other awards at Lickpenny Touring Park that is worth mentioning is the “Practical Caravan” Top 100 Parks awarded for 4 years in a row from 2006 to 2009 and an Alan Rogers inspected logo.
The park has a wide range of facilities available if you decide to bring your touring caravan here and all the pitch are generous in size. Every pitch has running water, drainage and electric and with the pitches slighter higher than other area around you will see fantastic views over the Derbyshire countryside.
The park at Lickpenny will except different types of caravans and motorhomes and will allow trailer tents, but please note that tents are not allowed.
With this campsite open all year you can enjoy the Derbyshire countryside when you want. Prices very during the seasons and the toilet blocks are heated during colder times of the year.
